Citi Trends is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, so if you've ever wanted a chance to lead the way, this is it.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes/markdowns
• Balancing register according to company policy
• Calling out prices for customers during transactions
• Bags merchandise efficiently at checkout
• Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly per company policy
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
• Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned
• Providing customer service, including greeting, following fitting room policies, ringing transactions promptly, thanking customers, and inviting them to return
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional, neat appearance with a name tag
• Assisting management with merchandising and stock level management
• Explaining exchange/refund policies to customers
• Supporting Loss Prevention efforts, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents, and following operational policies

Job Requirements:
