Citi Trends is looking for a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, so if you've ever wanted a chance to lead the way, this is it.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes and markdowns
• Balancing the register according to company policy
• Calling out prices for customers during transactions
• Bags merchandise efficiently after transactions
• Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and according to company policy
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks when needed
• Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping duties as assigned
• Providing customer service, including greeting customers, following fitting room policies, ringing transactions promptly, thanking customers, and inviting them to return
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assisting management with merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels
• Supporting management with tasks as requested per company policy
• Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers after transactions
• Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting theft or dishonesty incidents, and following operational policies
