Citi Trends is looking for a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our team at one of the largest chains in the value-priced urban apparel industry. We're growing, so if you've ever wanted a chance to lead the way, this is it.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing freight
• Assisting with price changes/markdowns
• Balancing the register according to company policy
• Calling out prices for customers when ringing transactions
• Bags merchandise efficiently after transactions
• Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly and per company policy
• Obtaining management approval for returns, voids, and checks
• Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping duties
• Providing customer service: greeting, fitting room policies, ringing customers promptly, thanking, and inviting them to return
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional appearance, including wearing a name tag
• Assisting management with merchandising and stock level tasks
• Explaining exchange/refund policies to customers
• Assisting Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents, and following operational policies

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages)
