Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Processing freight
2. Assisting with price changes and markdowns
3. Balancing registers according to company policy
4. Calling out prices during transactions
5. Bags merchandise efficiently after sales
6. Handling cash, checks, and credit cards correctly
7. Getting management approval for returns, voids, and checks
8. Maintaining store cleanliness and housekeeping
9. Providing customer service: greeting customers, abiding by fitting room policies, ringing transactions promptly, thanking customers, and inviting return visits
10. Following all safety procedures
11. Maintaining a professional appearance, including wearing a name tag
12. Assisting with merchandising and stock level management
13. Supporting management with various tasks as needed
14. Explaining exchange and refund policies to customers
15. Assisting with loss prevention efforts, including preventing theft and reporting incidents
