Job summary

Closure Systems International, Inc. is seeking a Store Room Attendant at the Erie Plant to organize, store, and distribute materials for production. You will maintain accurate inventory, stage parts for projects, and ensure a safe, clean storeroom environment across main and satellite areas.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work with CSI systems, and collaborate with team members to meet production needs while following safety protocols and continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders.
• Store items in designated locations in main and satellite storerooms.

• Safely transport materials between floors using forklifts or dollies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Label, tag, and track inventory per procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Follow safety protocols for stairs and elevated storage areas.
• Support continuous improvement of storeroom processes.

Job Description

The Store Room Attendant is responsible for the organization, storage, and distribution of materials, parts, and supplies within a manufacturing facility, including both ground-level and upstairs storeroom areas. This role ensures accurate inventory control, efficient material flow, and a safe, well-maintained storage environment to support production operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies against purchase orders and packing slips
• Accurately store items in designated locations within both the main and satellite storerooms
• Stage and kit parts for projects and upcoming work orders
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of all storage areas, including shelving, bins, and access pathways
• Safely transport materials between floors using freight elevator and/or pallet jacks, dollies, and fork trucks
• Perform regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and assist with full physical inventory audits
• Update inventory records in the company’s system to ensure accuracy
• Label, tag, and track inventory using established procedures
• Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors of shortages or discrepancies
• Follow all safety protocols, especially when handling materials on stairs or elevated storage areas
• Assist in maintaining proper storage conditions for sensitive or hazardous materials
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to inventory control and storeroom organization

• Maintain an attendance record within company guidelines and required overtime.
• Associate, High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Capable of Utilizing CSI's operating and support systems
• Experience/proven ability within the specified disciplines.
