Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a hands-on Project Manager to own delivery of store and club remodels, new stores, and special projects across the US. You will coordinate with store leaders, supervise hourly teams, handle escalations, and ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

The role requires overnight shifts, extensive travel, and a strong focus on compliance, stakeholder communication, and team development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area OR 3 years of experience in those areas.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, and/or store design.
• Experience leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross-functional teams.
• Primarily able to work overnight shifts averaging 10-12 hours.
• Frequent travel up to 1000 miles from home; away from home 80% of the time or 17-21 days at a time.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery and execution of store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects across the US.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members.
• Handle escalations and collaborate with store leadership.
• Motivate teams to meet project timelines and deliverables.
• Resolve store leadership, supplier, and associate concerns.
• Communicate plans, changes, and obstacles to stakeholders.
• Understand project plans and minimize impact on store operations.
• Supervise and develop associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognition, and career-path identification.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, mission, values, ethics, and integrity standards.
• Build stakeholder relationships and partnerships.
• Identify business needs, implement processes and practices, monitor progress and results, and adapt to changing demands.
