Job summary

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Sales and Production Associate to work in a production store and perform a wide variety of duties in both the store and production area. The role focuses on creating a pleasant, hospitable environment and maintaining strong donor and customer relationships.

You will handle donations with care, categorize merchandise, keep shelves stocked, assist with store operations, clean and maintain facilities, and report unsafe conditions.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and understand English for effective communication with supervisors, employees, beneficiaries, and customers.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating a hospitable work environment and maintain customer relationships.
• Assist with store operations as required.
• Serve all customers courteously and efficiently.
• Handle donations with care and donors with respect and courtesy.
• Manage merchandise with proper categories and colorization.
• Keep the store stocked and Rag Out calendar compliant.
• Assist in cleaning and general maintenance of store property.
• Report theft, customer complaints, injuries, and any unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area.
• Follow store policies communicated by management.
• Support the work therapy program by modeling professional conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or administrator.
