Job summary

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Sales and Production Associate to work in a production store and be responsible for performing a wide variety of duties in the store and the production area. The role emphasizes maintaining order and creating a pleasant, hospitable environment and sustaining donor relations.

Responsibilities include stocking, donation handling, customer service, and adherence to store policies, with additional duties to support the work therapy program

Qualifications

• Must have good customer service skills.
• Ability to speak and understand English for effective communication.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating a pleasant and hospitable work environment and maintain good customer relationships.
• Assist, as required, with store operations.
• Serve all customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Handle all donations with care and donors with respect and courtesy.
• Handle merchandise as directed, always maintaining proper categories and colorization.
• Ensure that store is sufficiently stocked and “ragged out” in accordance with the ARC Rag Out calendar.
• Assist in cleaning and general maintenance of store property.
• Immediately report theft, customer complaints, injuries, and any unsafe equipment or conditions to management.
• Maintain a clean and clutter-free work area.
• Comply with store policies as communicated.
• Support the work therapy program component by modeling professional conduct and work habits.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or Administrator.
