Job summary

NAPA is seeking a friendly Store Associate to join our Retail Store Operations team in Minnesota/Virginia. You will assist customers with automotive parts, showcase product knowledge, and process transactions accurately to support store performance.

As a first point of contact, you will build relationships, coordinate deliveries, and help maintain inventory integrity while delivering a positive, high-energy shopping experience for retail and wholesale customers. Starting wage is $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn automotive parts and technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate automotive parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers.
• Deliver a consistently positive and engaging customer experience.
• Operate systems including POS, inventory/catalog tools, and communication devices.
• Maintain high energy and customer focus in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Support store operations including transactions, inquiries, and general workflow.
• Build relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
• Utilize delivery management systems to coordinate deliveries and prepare orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain a safe, welcoming store environment.
• Assist with inventory control activities and cycle counts.
