Job summary

SCI-Arc is seeking a Store/Print Center Sales Assistant to handle sales, customer service, and basic printing support on-site in Los Angeles. You will ring up sales, manage inventory, and assist with store visuals while supervising student workers and helping with print orders as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years in retail, and up to 30 lbs lifting. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 10:00 am–5:00 pm, on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail experience.
• 1 year printing experience preferred.
• Must be reliable and able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Flexible schedule; on-site hours are subject to change.

Responsibilities

• Ring up sales, answer phones, assist customers and interact with students.
• Operate cash register – prepare register for store opening and close out register at end of day.
• Receive inventory orders.
• Maintain inventory – stock shelves, straighten store, notify Manager of low inventory.
• Be key holder – open and close store.
• Assist with store visuals - move merchandise, displays, shelving.
• Maintain clean store environment – sweep, dust, remove trash.
• Be knowledgeable about the merchandise.
• Supervise student workers.
• Work on creative product displays.
• Assist the Print Center when necessary.
• Take print orders, prepare digital files for printing, and load/replace print media.
