Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a store operations role based in Milwaukee. The position focuses on maintaining pricing documentation accuracy and supporting store processes to ensure accurate scanning, reporting, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Able to tactfully & calmly handle stressful situations and make a positive impression on associates and customers.
• Understanding of all key components of department operations (i.e., managing people, merchandising, inventory management, shrink control, customer services, labor scheduling, expense control, etc.).
• Past work record reflects dependability and integrity.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices, OSHA compliance, etc.

Responsibilities

• Check in and test scan all vendors.
• Maintain weekly ad item in scanning file.
• Provide housekeeping in computer room: check/clean filters, sweep and mop floors, check battery backup systems, monthly power fail simulation.
• Copy PLU File twice a week.
• Maintain documentation on all retail accounting.
• Test scan entire store every six to eight weeks.
• Maintain Special Report File (A.C. Nielsen, Sami, Special Item Movement Report).
• Promote and communicate company initiatives and process improvements to direct reports in a positive manner.
• Perform any and all duties as assigned.
• Maintain flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights; weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
