Job summary

Kroger in the United States is seeking a candidate to maintain pricing documentation accuracy in the store. You will check in and test scan all vendors, maintain the weekly ad item in the scanning file, and perform computer room housekeeping including filters, floor cleaning, battery backups, and monthly power-fail simulations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of department operations components (people, merchandising, inventory, shrink control, customer service, labor scheduling, expense control).

Responsibilities

• Check in and test scan all vendors.
• Maintain weekly ad item in scanning file.
• Housekeeping in computer room, including checking and cleaning filters, sweeping and mopping computer room floor, checking battery backup systems, and power fail simulation once a month.
• Copy PLU File twice a week.
• Maintain documentation on all retail accounting.
• Test scan entire store every six to eight weeks.
• Maintain Special Report File (A.C. Nielsen, Sami, Special Item Movement Report).
• Promote, communicate and implement company initiatives and process improvements to direct reports in a positive manner.
• Perform any and all duties as assigned.
• Maintain flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights; willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
