Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a detail-oriented team member to maintain pricing documentation accuracy in the store. You will demonstrate the company values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety while ensuring pricing data remains current.

Responsibilities include managing UPC and PLU files, testing vendor scans, maintaining weekly ad files, performing computer room housekeeping, and supporting process improvements within the department.

• Maintain store UPC File including price changes, deletions, and new items.
• Test scan all vendors to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain weekly ad item in scanning file.
• Housekeeping in computer room and ensure power backup readiness.
• Copy PLU File twice a week and maintain documentation on retail accounting.
• Test scan entire store every 6–8 weeks and maintain special reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store UPC File (price change, deletion, new items)
• Check in and test scan all vendors
• Maintain weekly ad item in scanning file
• Provide housekeeping in computer room, includes checking and cleaning filters, sweeping and mopping computer room floor, checking battery backup systems, and once a month power fail simulation
• Copy PLU File twice a week
• Maintain documentation on all retail accounting
• Test scan entire store every six to eight weeks.
• Maintain Special Report File (A.C. Nielson, Sami, Special Item Movement Report)
• Demonstrate the ability and desire to promote, communicate and implement company initiatives and process improvements to direct reports in a positive manner
• Perform any and all duties as assigned
• Maintain flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights as the work demands; willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed
