Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a detail-oriented pricing/documentation role to maintain pricing data accuracy in-store and support store operations.

You will ensure up-to-date UPC and PLU files, test scan vendors, and handle weekly ad items while promoting Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, and safety. You will also maintain retail accounting records, perform routine cataloging tasks, and adapt to morning, afternoon, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.

• Understanding of key department operations (people, merchandising, inventory, shrink, customer service, labor, expenses).

• Maintain store UPC File (price change, deletion, new items)
• Check in and test scan all vendors
• Maintain weekly ad item in scanning file
• Provide housekeeping in computer room, including filters, sweeping, mopping, power backup checks, and monthly power failure simulations
• Copy PLU File twice a week
• Maintain documentation on all retail accounting
• Test scan entire store every six to eight weeks
• Maintain Special Report File (A.C. Nielsen, Sami, Special Item Movement Report)
• Promote, communicate and implement company initiatives to direct reports in a positive manner
• Perform any and all duties as assigned
• Maintain flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights; weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation
