Family Dollar in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Store Planner I to design and manage store layouts, including floor, fixture, merchandise and electrical plans from start to finish for new stores, relocations, expansions and renovations. The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Interior Design/Architecture, experience with AutoCAD and MS Office, and strong multitasking and interpersonal skills.

Salary ranges apply with a 10% annual bonus opportunity.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Construction, Site Planning and/or Space Planning concepts is preferred.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt to change with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS-Office applications.

Mansioni

• Create 2-3 floor, merchandise and fixture plans for new stores, relocations and expansions per week.
• Create 10-20 floor, merchandise and fixture plans for varying special projects.
• Ensure store plans comply with ADA, fire, and basic construction codes.
• Analyze layouts for potential problems and develop resolutions.
