Job summary

Break Time Lebanon seeks an Assistant Manager to support store operations in Lebanon, Missouri. You will assist in managing the location in the Store Manager’s absence, coach team members, and help monitor store finances and expenses.

You will lead by example, provide excellent customer service, supervise shifts, promote food service and safety, and ensure accurate reporting, inventory, and banking. This role requires energy, teamwork, and a commitment to compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Availability to work and/or support all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance with ability to transport to bank.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Leads a team and works well individually.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and shift reports.
• Proficient with computers and basic technology.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers, supporting peak hours.
• Assist in day-to-day store operations, including reporting, banking, inventory, and food programs.
• Assist in merchandising, pricing, promotions, and keeping merchandise stocked and presentable.
• Supervise shifts in the absence of the manager and train new employees.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Understand store finances and help control expenses and losses.
• Support recruiting, coaching, and development of team members.
• Operate store technology and perform cash handling and counting duties.

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent
