Job summary

Ulta Beauty in California is seeking a Task Associate to support store operations, keep fixtures stocked, and help the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager by focusing on performance, people, and process. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

The position demands flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with strong teamwork and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices)

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s retail goals by ensuring tasks are executed as planned and product is available for purchase.
• Meet compliance and execution goals related to task dashboard and ensure the timely completion of all operational processes, including shipment and replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment that supports teammates and guests.
• Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education, to drive sales performance.
• Follow Ulta Beauty policies, dress code, and standards.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, displays, inventory procedures, and processing shipments using Ulta Beauty’s technology and best practices.
• Drive operational excellence by keeping work area replenished, signed, and faced, and ensuring testers are available.
• Maintain store cleanliness across salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention practices and providing guest service.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.
