Job summary

Home Depot is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to manage store operations processes across defined areas and drive major process improvement initiatives in partnership with the Operations Strategy Team. You will guide and mentor a team of Business Analysts, oversee project plans, and ensure timely execution of strategic improvements.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with field leadership to enhance store performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• PMI certification preferred.
• 3 years of retail experience or process management in related area.
• Knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the fundamental components of problems and communicate the correct course of action to the team and the resolution to the field.
• Develop and implement changes that improve overall store operations processes and drive core projects/process improvements.
• Manage day-to-day processes related to areas of responsibility and create/maintain project work plans.
• Manage issues and roadblocks that arise related to areas of responsibility.
• Respond proactively to unanticipated store needs arising from various inputs and ensure successful execution of strategic projects.
• Communicate effectively and build strong partnerships with the field/stores and across Home Depot.
• Prepare and deliver high-level insights and recommendations based on multiple analyses of industry, business, competitive landscape, and consumer data.
• Provide guidance and training relevant to area of expertise and translate findings into verbal/written recommendations.
• Maintain knowledge base regarding specific operations and processes within store operations.
• Responsible for selection, terminations, performance appraisal and professional development of the Business Analysts.
