Goose Creek Distribution Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing store operations and achieving performance targets. The role involves training hourly associates and ensuring a high standard of customer service.

You will help plan schedules, supervise daily tasks, and enforce store policies while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required.

Aufgaben

• Ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers; respond to complaints or inquiries.
• Assist with supervising day-to-day task assignments and performance of team associates.
• Assist with management of associates and the store team – training and coaching.
• Assist with planning and preparing work schedules and coordinating daily assignments.
• Adhere to city, county, and state regulations including verifying age with a valid I.D. for age-restricted sales.
• Ensure execution of safety, security, quality, and store operations policies and practices.
• Process store invoices daily.
• Prepare daily deposits.
• Complete daily paperwork and other store reports.
• Conduct periodic store inventories.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store appearance at all times.
• Ensure profitability.
• Avoid conflicts of interest; avoid outside employment in similar business.
• All duties performed without unlawful harassment.
• Assistant Manager will perform all duties of a typical store associate.
