Job summary

Harbor Freight Tools is seeking an Assistant Manager for a full-time role in our Dallas-area stores. The ideal candidate has leadership experience in retail and is comfortable working a flexible schedule with early mornings and late evenings.

The position offers an hourly wage range of $28.00–$30.80, plus a monthly bonus and a full benefits package including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k) with company match, and PTO up to 152 hours per year.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in retail management/leadership.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates in person, e-mail, and telephone.
• Ability to intermittently lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand/move for entire shift.
• Physically able and willing to become forklift-certified.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and model professional customer service.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store.
• Cross-train in all areas of store operations including Stocking/Sales associate duties, and responsibilities.
• Lead, coach, and develop others.
• Serve as Leader on Duty as scheduled.
• Be a subject matter expert in your role and model "Great Place To Work" behaviors.
• Ensure items are in stock and priced correctly.
• Other duties as assigned
