Job summary

Radius Recycling is recruiting a Store Manager to oversee all aspects of store operations in Tumwater, WA. Responsibilities include sales optimization, vehicle purchasing, staff leadership, and ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

You will develop managers and staff, manage scheduling, and drive performance through data-driven decisions. Strong bilingual communication and automotive experience are preferred for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Solid quantitative skills to understand store financial performance and operating statistics.
• Ability to reconcile sales, prepare reports and read technical manuals.
• Able to handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Able to work required hours which includes weekends and holidays.
• Minimum of a 3 year's management or leadership experience in the automotive field preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Environmental Health and Safety Team to ensure the store adheres to safety and environmental policies.
• Manages, trains, and develops Managers in Training, Assistant Managers, Sales Supervisors, Production Supervisors and Vehicle Purchasing Agents for success and advancement.
• Staffing levels, delegating duties and scheduling work hours.
• Attract, screen, hire, retain and develop all employees through performance planning and evaluations.
• Drive store performance by optimizing sales, production, and vehicle purchasing.
• Manage financials by analyzing monthly statements and operating statistics and taking corrective actions.
• Establish community relationships to promote the Pick-n-Pull Brand.
• Lead by example and ensure policy compliance at the store level.
• Prepare operating reports for the Regional Director.
• Oversee cash management procedures and safeguard company assets.
• Collaborate with internal resources to ensure legal compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
