Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple business units, including retail, fuel, and food service. You will lead a team, ensure safety and cleanliness, and drive sales through effective inventory, ordering, and merchandising.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the General Manager, financial reporting, and cross-functional teamwork to meet company goals and deliver excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail, travel stop or c-store management.
• 2+ years managing operations with annual sales of $2+ million.
• 2+ years deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• 2+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
• Intermediate level Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Ability to complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on responsibility for multiple business operations up to and including retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through restroom/shower cleanliness, facilities, equipment maintenance, and safety checks.
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, scheduling, cash integrity, and daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
• Understand financial reporting including profit and loss statements to drive opportunity-focused changes.
• Collaborate with managers in talent acquisition.
