Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple service areas, drive efficiency, and maximize customer satisfaction.

You will lead a team, manage processes, and implement strategies to grow sales within a fast-paced travel stop environment. The role demands strong leadership, communication, and financial acumen, with opportunities for career development and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail, travel stop, c-store, or similar management.
• 2+ years managing operations with annual sales of $2M+.
• 2+ years affecting budgets and P&L statements.
• 2+ years supervising and training 5–10+ employees.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on responsibility of multiple business operations up to and potentially including store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through restroom and shower upkeep, facilities, equipment maintenance, and safety checks.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, scheduling, cash integrity, and daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
• Understand financial reporting to analyze profit and loss statements and capitalize on opportunities.
• Collaborate with managers in talent acquisition efforts.
