Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant leadership in big-box/high-volume retail.
• Experience leading teams of 20+ Team Members and managing $5M+ annual revenue/budget.
• Knowledge of freight, inventory, stocking, and merchandising; ability to keep store clean, safe, and organized.
• Customer-focused mindset with a proven in-store experience track record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Experience using task management, HRIS, and workforce scheduling systems.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, comprehension).
• Ability to inspire, drive urgency, delegate, and motivate high-performing teams.
• Skilled in prioritizing, multitasking, and adapting to changing business needs.
• Proven ability to analyze data and drive performance.
• Proven ability to build collaborative, high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive operation execution to achieve sales, profit, and performance goals while delivering an engaging customer experience.
• Attract, hire, and develop talent; build internal bench strength and succession plans.
• Coach and develop staff; promote continuous improvement and internal growth within At Home.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and payroll accuracy while aligning with financial metrics.
• Plan and oversee operations, including opening/closing and front-end processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Direct freight, inventory, stocking, and merchandising to maintain in-stock conditions and visual standards.
• Lead efforts in customer satisfaction, safety, loss prevention, and cash handling.
• Address Team Member and customer concerns with urgency and integrity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment where Team Members grow and collaborate.
