Job summary

You will manage staffing, training, planning, and customer service to deliver a best-in-class shopping experience, while ensuring profitability and adherence to safety standards. This bench role covers multiple Flint market stores.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of retail/operations management experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• Strong focus on customer service and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction for store operations, processes and conditions.
• Plans, directs and supervises the team in day-to-day store operation.
• Develops strategies to improve customer service, sales and profitability.
• Oversees staffing, recruiting and talent development to meet forecasted needs.
• Ensures adherence to safety standards and Meijer brand values.
• Drives engagement and maintains open communication across the team.
