Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Lafayette, LA to maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. Under the Store Manager, you will supervise staff, present merchandise, handle deposits, and support profitability and asset protection while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

You will stock and cashier, assist with scheduling and training, follow cash control procedures, and help manage the store in the manager's absence in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store at least two days per week.

• Support planogram implementation and merchandise presentation.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability and deposits.
• Assist store management in absence of the Store Manager.
