Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Orland Park, IL. You will assist with daily activities, organize merchandise, and help train store associates to maintain high standards and a positive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and follow corporate directives.
• Maintain and stock displays and ensure store areas meet company standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and loss prevention.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
