Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 1 year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide training; conduct performance evaluations; counsel as needed.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings.
• Ensure store opened/closed properly; maintain cash control and security.
• Order and stock to meet in-stock targets; manage inventory and shrink.
• Maintain presentation, pricing and signage; ensure store cleanliness and safety.
