Job summary

Tractor Supply is seeking a proactive Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations at our store. You will supervise sales, service, and front‑end execution while supporting the Store Manager in achieving financial results and Legendary Customer Experience.

Responsibilities include staff coaching, scheduling, loss prevention, and ensuring safety compliance. A strong background in retail leadership and knowledge of farming or ranching enhances success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership experience is required.
• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or the equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Drive sales and profit, and oversee store operations.
• Deliver Legendary Service and coach Team Members.
• Open and close procedures, cash handling, and bank deposits.
