Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Recruit and retain qualified employees; ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training; conduct performance evaluations.
• Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings and events.
• Open/close the store regularly and ensure proper staffing.
• Evaluate operating statements to identify trends and opportunities.
• Oversee ordering to meet stock targets and manage inventory issues.
• Facilitate efficient staging, stocking and storage of merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise is presented according to practices and pricing.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and cash controls.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available for tasks.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; complete paperwork on time.
