Job summary

TrailersPlus, a Division of Interstate Group, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run our Blue Springs location. The ASM will assist the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales, manage inventory, supervise staff, and oversee service and repair work.

This role emphasizes leadership, exceptional customer service, safety, and accountability, with the ASM supporting planning, reporting, and coverage in the Store Manager’s absence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months to 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to read/write routine reports and communicate effectively; Spanish a plus.
• Must be able to operate forklift and power tools with certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in achieving revenue goals and supervise sales/service staff.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and timely submission of paperwork to state agencies.
• Maintain inventory, pricing, vendor relations, and daily store operations.
• Hire, onboard, train, and manage staff; address performance issues.
• Ensure safety and professional appearance of the facility; manage time cards.
