Family Dollar in Sevierville, TN is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help with daily functions, assist customers, and ensure merchandise is well organized and displayed.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, store-management experience preferred, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and process requests related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling/Cash deposits.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized; protect assets including cash.
• Ensure policies and safety guidelines are followed by store associates.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Ensure store cleanliness and restocking of bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
