Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Retail Lead Supervisor in Chesapeake (Finance) to help run a retail location, donation site and in-store production facility. In manager absence, you will direct associates, ensure production targets are met, and model exemplary customer service and professionalism.

You will support management with onboarding, meetings, and performance reviews, while leveraging reports to monitor sales, production and trends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; combination of education and work experience considered.
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
• No professional certifications required.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in the absence of store/assistant manager.
• Monitor associate progress toward goals and production targets.
• Capitalize on production needs to meet store goals.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and visual merchandising.
• Model exceptional customer service for staff and customers.
• Assist management with onboarding, meetings, and appraisals.
• Collect and act on customer and associate feedback.
• Utilize daily sales and production reports to track activity and trends.
