Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily tasks, organize merchandise transfers, and help train Store Associates to maintain high standards.

The role emphasizes safety, loss prevention, and a positive working environment while upholding company policies and procedures. This position is located in Alexandria, KY and requires strong communication and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and stairs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions.
• Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stock and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communicate store activities to the team.
• Maintain storefront displays and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged goods, record keeping and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, stocked store areas and secure assets.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; ensure safety and professionalism.
• Uncover and address problems; maintain a positive work environment.
