Dollar Tree in Florence, SC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run day-to-day store operations, assist customers, and develop a focused team. You will supervise associates, organize merchandise, ensure store cleanliness and safety, and uphold company policies while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling records, loss prevention, and promoting a positive, staff-friendly environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities and reporting.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, payroll records, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized; protect all assets including cash.
• Enforce policies and safety guidelines; ensure staff adherence.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment in interactions with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
