Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Adhere to directives and communicate store activities to staff.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and overall promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged stock, and handling payroll and scheduling.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures by associates.
• Help supervise, train and develop Store Associates.
