Job summary

You will greet customers, suggest purchases, handle shift reports, and uphold safety standards, including environmental and hazardous material rules. Must be 18+, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varied temperatures. Starting rate: $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Read, understand, and write English at an eighth-grade level.
• Perform arithmetic calculations at an eighth-grade level.
• Validate identification prior to selling tobacco/alcohol as required by regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds (and 50 pounds at times) and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Prepare a shift report at the end of the shift.
• Greet customers with a smile and promote specials.
• Maintain safety and appearance of the store and environment.
