Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Fort Worth is seeking a retail associate to support store operations, assist with openings and closings, and help training staff.

You will operate the cash register, handle cash deposits, answer customer questions, and ensure merchandise is neat and secure.

Strong communication, reliability, and a neat appearance are important; a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a retail store preferred.
• Valid State Driver License, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with store openings and closings in accordance with established procedures on a regular basis.
• Assist management in training store personnel.
• Operate and maintain a cash register; collect monies, count change, balance the cash register drawer and print routine register print-outs; prepare and deliver bank deposits.
• Respond to customers questions and assist customers who are donating items.
• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of merchandise and displays.
• Maintain the neatness and security of the cash register area; secure merchandise and the cash register.
• Clean display racks and shelves; sweep and mop floors; cleans windows, mirrors, and helps maintain overall cleanliness of store.
• Answer the store telephone in a tactful and courteous manner.
