Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is hiring a customer-focused team member for Austin. Expect daytime hours, strong work-life balance, and a chance to grow with a nationwide company.

You’ll develop relationships, meet sales goals, lease units, process payments, and perform daily property maintenance to keep sites clean and secure.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Ability to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing solutions with a standout customer experience.
• Interact face-to-face with customers, deliver excellent service, and build rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform daily operations including lock checks and unit showings.
• Rent units, sell store merchandise, manage the leasing process, and process payments via POS, with daily deposits.

In your role at CubeSmart Self-Storage, you will be required to manage and maintain stores within your district. This includes skills in both customer service and property maintenance.

Customer Service

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS), completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.

Property Maintenance

• Physical requirements include daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the store grounds, opening, and closing of the storage doors (up to 50 lbs.)
• Maintaining facility which includes mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities.
• Keeping a clean and safe storage facility to ensure conditions meet company guidelines (i.e., clean restrooms, neat landscaping and parking areas, storage doors that are clean and tidy, and neat decluttered office space.)

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
