STORE/NIGHT CLERK (Finance)

Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Minimum Requirements:
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
  • Effective communication skills

Responsibilities:
  • Promote trust and respect among associates.
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products across the store.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and suggest suitable options to customers.
  • Recommend grocery items and inform customers about specials.
  • Check product quality, review sell-by dates, and ensure freshness.
  • Label, stock, and inventory merchandise, providing customers with ordered products.
  • Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping to the manager.
  • Display a positive attitude and stay current with store promotions and ads.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers, with logs.
  • Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and participate in safety programs.
  • Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
  • Notify management of accidents, safety risks, illegal activities, or theft.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
