STORE/NIGHT CLERK (Finance)

Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all quality assurance standards. • Second language skills (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

Responsibilities:

• Promote trust and respect among associates
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products and store promotions
• Maintain knowledge of products and suggest items to customers
• Recommend products and inform customers of specials
• Check product quality, review sell-by dates, and ensure freshness
• Label, stock, and inventory merchandise; provide customers with ordered products
• Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping
• Maintain a positive attitude and stay current with store promotions
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers
• Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and report accidents or risks
