Minimum requirements:
- Ability to handle stressful situations.
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
- Effective communication skills.
Desired qualifications:
- Retail experience.
- Proficiency in a second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing).
Responsibilities include:
- Promote trust and respect among associates.
- Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and making product suggestions.
- Maintain knowledge of products and inform customers about specials.
- Ensure product quality and freshness, review sell-by dates, and take appropriate action.
- Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise; provide customers with ordered products.
- Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping.
- Display a positive attitude and stay current with advertisements.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures and logs.
- Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and report accidents or safety risks.
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
