STORE/NIGHT CLERK (Finance)

Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Responsibilities include:

• Promoting trust and respect among associates.
• Creating an environment that makes customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated by answering questions about products.
• Gaining and maintaining product knowledge and responding to customer inquiries with suggestions.
• Recommending grocery items and informing customers of specials.
• Checking product quality, reviewing sell-by dates, and taking appropriate action.
• Labeling, stocking, and inventorying merchandise; providing customers with ordered products.
• Reporting product discrepancies to the manager.
• Maintaining a positive attitude and staying current with ads and promotions.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining proper temperatures and logs.
• Reinforcing safety procedures, inspecting equipment, and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Reporting accidents, safety risks, and illegal activities such as theft or fraud.
• Performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
