STORE/NIGHT CLERK (Finance)



Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Minimum requirements:

  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
  • Effective communication skills

Desired qualifications:

  • Retail experience
  • Second language skills (speaking, reading, or writing)

Responsibilities include:

  • Promote trust and respect among associates
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and providing product suggestions
  • Maintain knowledge of products and current promotions
  • Recommend products and inform customers of specials
  • Check product quality and freshness, review sell-by dates, and take appropriate action
  • Label, stock, and inventory merchandise; provide customers with ordered products
  • Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping
  • Maintain a positive attitude
  • Stay updated with advertisements and promotions
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
  • Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers, and keep logs
  • Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management
  • Inspect equipment and report repairs needed
  • Report customer or employee accidents, safety risks, illegal activities, including theft or fraud
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
