Job summary

Belk is seeking a Merchandising Team Manager in Lakeland, FL to lead a team in store operations, merchandising, and facilities duties. You will collaborate with operations, visual merchandising, and selling teams to elevate presentations, manage inventory, and ensure accurate signage and pricing.

You will drive key metrics, supervise inbound/outbound deliveries, and support store fulfillment while coaching the team to deliver excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management.
• Ability to apply analytics, judgement, and initiative to drive store metrics and profitability.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills to develop team performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in back-of-house and front-of-house operations to ensure accurate product placement, pricing, and signage.
• Collaborate with selling and visual teams to maintain planograms and store presentations.
• Plan workload, forecast receipts, and labor hours using company systems and reporting tools.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop associates to sustain high performance and engagement.
• Protect assets and maintain inventory accuracy through loss prevention practices.
