Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring a Merchandise Manager in Roanoke, VA to drive merchandising and operational excellence. You will lead in-store execution, manage inventory, and uphold visual standards while ensuring accurate pricing and timely promotions.

Responsibilities include MOD coverage, truck processing, and coordinating with leadership to optimize staffing and store readiness. Must have 3+ years of retail leadership and be comfortable working nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience enforcing SOPs and company policies.
• Strong inventory control and planogram knowledge.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Lead truck execution and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Manage Store-In-Stock Optimization (SISO) routines and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and timely promotional execution across the store.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage and maintain service standards.
