The Michaels Companies in Long Beach, CA is seeking a part-time Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising execution and store operations. You will manage truck processing, planogram sets, and in-stock optimization while maintaining pricing integrity and customer-ready presentation.

You will lead a team, coordinate with store leadership, and ensure SOPs are followed, delivering strong service standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Strong workload planning and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in enforcing SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure policy compliance and maintain store conditions.
• Provide manager-on-duty coverage and maintain service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading and merchandising flow to the floor.
• Plan workloads and coordinate staffing with store leadership.
• Maintain Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for replenishment and in-stock levels.
• Oversee Planogram execution and confirm timely, accurate merchandising sets.
• Uphold visual merchandising standards and product presentation.
• Manage inventory accuracy, shrink, and stock movements.
• Execute price changes on schedule and ensure pricing integrity.
• Oversee Ship-from-Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
• Support store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
