What You’ll Do

With our significant growth plans, we seek a Store Manager to join us in this location to onboard and train, with the potential to move into your own store. Candidates need to be open and willing to relocate within Primark’s markets as new stores open. The assigned store may be a new or existing location. As a Store Manager Unassigned, you agree to be assigned to a store within a specific geographic area upon successful training completion. Employment is contingent on store placement and training success.

During onboarding, you will work with an experienced Primark Store Manager to learn all aspects of store operations. This robust training is designed to equip you to succeed and manage your own store. This is your moment to thrive!

As a Store Manager, you will set the store vision, lead your team, drive continuous improvement, and work towards strategic goals. You will focus on maximizing sales, maintaining standards, and motivating your team. By exceeding customer expectations and delivering Primark’s value proposition—outstanding value, fashion, and service—you will drive sales and meet targets.

Store Managers impact daily business by managing inventory, coaching teams, benchmarking against competitors, and using insights to improve performance. You will be responsible for achieving sales budgets and maximizing departmental sales using all available tools.

What You’ll Bring

• Prior experience as a retail Store Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with experience in developing high-performing teams.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to analyze reports and guide performance improvements.
• Strong leadership qualities to engage stakeholders and motivate teams confidently and enthusiastically.
• Proven experience in empowering teams to deliver excellent customer service and store standards.
• Strong planning and organizational skills to work within deadlines.
• Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written, to instruct, coach, and lead teams, and to provide excellent customer service.

*This role requires the ability to relocate within Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana as designated by Primark.*
