Role Overview

The primary responsibility of a Family Farm and Home Store Manager - Unassigned is to learn and support the company's culture and philosophies. The role requires strong leadership skills to motivate and supervise team members, along with gaining knowledge in merchandising, inventory control, and store operations. A successful candidate will understand the local market, customer base, seasonal trends, and competitors, acting as a role model and strategic thinker to meet store goals.

Training and Relocation

Store Managers - Unassigned will learn store operations within 6 to 12 months and must be willing to relocate thereafter.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Promote the company's mission and values.
• Foster an aggressive sales culture with a focus on customer service.
• Hire, coach, discipline, and evaluate team members to maintain motivation and professionalism.
• Ensure store operations meet company standards, including scheduling and performance monitoring.
• Provide feedback to corporate offices and maintain inventory and assets securely.
• Manage store financials, including budgeting, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions.
• Build relationships with customers and the community.
• Ensure safety and legal compliance, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
• Review operational and financial data to inform marketing strategies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and enforce policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Manager Trainee Requirements

Candidates should demonstrate leadership, problem-solving, and management skills, with excellent communication abilities. They should be comfortable with hiring and firing, customer service, data interpretation, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, handling merchandise, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays is necessary.
