Store Manager Trainee/Parts Counter (Bilingual)

Colliflower Inc/Randall Pressure Systems, a leading Parker Hannifin distributor of hoses and fittings, has an immediate opening for a Store Manager Trainee at our Geneva, IL location. The hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn about the fluid connector business and Colliflower's operations through comprehensive training in business operations, customer service, inventory, sales, product assembly, facility management, and other areas. Training will occur across various store and hub locations to meet developmental needs.

Compensation

Pay is based on industry knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Employees can earn extra through overtime, referral bonuses, sales goal awards, and premium pay for after-hours services.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Customer Service
  • Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries
  • Identify appropriate product solutions under the Store Manager’s guidance
  • Resolve customer issues with managerial support
  • Uphold Colliflower’s Vision and Principles in all interactions
  • Provide sales leads and participate in customer capture programs
  • Engage in internal training programs within three months
  • Promote all company products and services
Hose Assembly & Facility Management
  • Assemble hoses and crimp to manufacturer standards under supervision
  • Assist with waste and cost reduction efforts
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean store environment
  • Support routine facility maintenance
Inventory & Product Management
  • Handle deliveries, stock, and clean shelves
  • Participate in inventory projects and tracking
  • Maintain product displays and perform shipping/receiving duties
Administration
  • Process sales transactions and related records
  • Complete timecards accurately
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Good work ethic and organizational skills
  • Proficient math skills, including reading tape measures and understanding metrics
Physical Requirements
  • Lift, push, pull up to 150 lbs
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and operate tools regularly
Work Environment
  • Workshop setting with standard office and hand/power tools
  • Exposure to noise and occasional odors, but within tolerable levels
